My path in the holistic arts began in 2009 at the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, NY.  As a massage student, studies in subtle energy palpation led to my exploring energy work via the Western Usui Reiki system with instructor Hallie Sawyers, LMT of Soul Song Integrative Bodywork. Continuing my training through the years to Shinpiden (Mystery Teachings) aka Master Level, has deepened my personal practice and keeps me inspired to remain a lifelong student of Reiki. Researching the true roots of this system and integrating its philosophy and practices is an ongoing passion of mine.

Initially drawn to yoga as a way to take care of my body, experiencing the gradual effects of its holistic nature has been life changing. Similar to Reiki, I find the philosophical depths of Yoga to inspire a balanced way of life as a daily practice. Learning to calm and focus the mind has been one of the most valuable practices I have found on this path. It is an honor to create a space to be present and share these timeless concepts and techniques with students.

When I'm not busy being a certified wellness nerd, I'm often obeying my cats orders or doing something vegan with coconut and curry in the kitchen.
